Cigarette factories have the characteristics of high requirement for temperature and humidity control, lower humidity load and larger heat humidity ratio. The chilled water supply temperature of conventional air conditioning system is kept constant at 7 ℃ in cigarette factories and leads to some problems. By the DeST software, simulates and analyses the annual required chilled water temperature in the cigarette-packing workshop and the primary processing workshop in five cities located at five different climatic zones at the different setting indoor temperature of 23 ℃ and 25 ℃. Experimentally verifies the feasibility of improving the chilled water supply temperature and analyses the energy efficiency. The results indicate that the required chilled water temperature is 8 ℃ to 15 ℃; when the supply temperature is 10 ℃ in summer and 12 ℃ in transition seasons and winter, the energy saving rate can be 13% in summer and 23% in transition seasons and winter.
